SEIDL caption: Apparently not published, but it's possible that the flag was raised shortly after the new Junior High opened for the 1962-63 school year. There is no grass growing yet, and the students appears to be in shirtsleeves, suggesting this was taken in September 1962 or possibly early October. Reports say the fall of 1962 was unseasonably warm.
