SEIDL caption: COMMENDATION — Louise Stout, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Stout Sr., recently received a special letter of commendation signed by the high school principal at Ainsworth, T.J. Berdo, and also by the president of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. The letter recognizes of the Ainsworth student's excellent performance on the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. "Although, she did not reach the status of semifinalist in the merit program," said Mr. Berdo, "she has been singled out for special attention because of her high performance."
