SEIDL caption: FOLLOW THE YELLOW-BRICK ROAD — Looking like the best of friends in this picture which was taken just before starting of the Ridiculous Day Parade Thursday afternoon are these two characters fresh from story-book land and on-hand in Washington to take part in the parade. The two, Luther Smith as the Cowardly Lion, and Marvin Lowry as the Tin Woodsman, are members of the staff at Osincup Drugs, costumed in roles of characters from "The Wizard of Oz." The group took first place in judging of groups and floats in the annual parade. Capturing the vote for second place in that division was the Gambles store force.
