READING PROGRAM — During one of the summer story sessions at the library here guest story teller Mrs. Wilson Putman read several Japanese fairy tales to the youngsters. To tie in with the theme of the Japanese fairy tales Rosilyn Latta, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Lloyd Latta, was on hand wearing authentic Japanese clothing. In the picture above Rosilyn, right, points out some of the designs on the oriental fan to three of the youths before the story session began. They are from left to right, Bill Wagner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wagner, Claudia Jean Norton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Norton, and Patty Jo McGrevey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William McGrevey. Rosilyn’s father had the Japanese costume made for her when he was in Japan several years ag0. — Journal Photo by Bob Elliott
