SEIDL caption: ALL-STATE BAND — Ann Peterson, senior in Washington High School, will represent the local school in the all-state band at Des Moines on Friday and Saturday. Ann, along with eight vocalists from the local school, will leave for Des Moines Thursday afternoon. She will rehearse with the all-state band Friday and Saturday, and appear in a concert at KRNT Theater Saturday evening. This is the fifth year that Ann has participated in the all-state' Music festival, having been chosen for the event as an eighth grader. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Peterson and plays the alto clarinet. Alan Bergstrom is the Washington band director.
